De iFi Audio GO Blu is een uiterst handige portable DAC die je door het geringe formaat en het gewicht van slecht 26 gram (!) eenvoudig overal mee naar toe neemt. Sluit jouw bekabelde premium hoofdtelefoon eenvoudig via de single-ended 3.5mm of de 4.4mm balanced Pentaconn connector aan en stuur deze nu ook met smartphone zonder hoofdtelefoonaansluiting via Bluetooth HD aan. De GO Blu ondersteunt Bluetooth 5.1 aptX, aptX LL, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, LDAC, AAC, SBC en HWA/LHDC.

Highres geluidskwaliteit

Behalve via Bluetooth kun je ook muziek via de USB-C poort insturen met een maximale resolutie van 24 bit en 96kHz. De accu heeft voldoende capaciteit om tot 10 uur van muziek in highres muziekkwaliteit te genieten. De volumeregeling geschiedt analoog voor de best mogelijke geluidskwaliteit zonder digitale compressie. Hiervoor heeft de fabrikant gebruik gemaakt van een conventionele volumeknop geïnspireerd op Swiss Chronograph design & implementation.

Hoogwaardig design

Ondanks het compacte formaat is de GO Blu voorzien van hoogwaardige gescheiden Bluetooth, DAC en twin-mono Direct Drive S-Balanced versterker circuits. Hiermee levert deze GO Blu een significant hogere geluidskwaliteit dan de vele on-chip oplossingen in de markt. Ook heeft de fabrikant XBass toegevoegd voor een betere laag met open-back hoofdtelefoons en XSpace voor nog meer ruimtelijkheid in de muziekweergave met in-ear hoofdtelefoons. Dankzij de ingebouwde auto-gain past de iFi Audio GO Blu zich automatisch aan op het gebruikte type hoofdtelefoon.

Wow that light color ring is annoying
There is no way to turn this color light off. I don't even know why it has to have a light at all. I suppose it is to tell you it has power. But the light could have been something that momentarily turns on and then off as you place the phone on. I'm a DIY'er and I'm going to find a way to take this apart and disable the light. I'll report back if I'm successful. The good news is that this mount is identical to another one I have except for the magnet charging section. I'm talking it is identical down to the knobs and metal arm so it's generic in that sense. They only changed out the magnetic section. This type of mount holds well to the screen. The charging speed seemed adequate. Not terribly fast but not slow. Wirelessly charging is always slower than plugged in. The supplied USB cable is braided and feels like quality. See attached picture. This mount is not something you'll necessarily want to use every time you drive. Therefore the color ring is annoying.

HIGH SPEED TESLA MAGSAFE POWER i picked this up for my Model 3 to see if the 25W Qi2.2 charging actually lives up to the hype during my daily work week. ✨ The CNC aluminum build is top notch and feels much more robust than the flimsy plastic mounts i have tested. It's a piece of cake to clamp onto the corner of the Tesla screen and the metal arm matches the interior aesthetics perfectly. The built in cooling fan is a smart design choice that keeps the temperature down during long drives. i can hear the fan if the music is off but it's barely noticeable and definitely worth it for the consistent charging speed. ✨ The RGB lighting adds a subtle glow that makes it easy to find the mount in the dark without being distracting. Having the extendable arm is a big benefit for finding the perfect line of sight without blocking the main touchscreen. It's clearly a well thought out solution for any Tesla owner who wants a professional grade charging setup. THE VERDICT This is a exceptional piece of hardware that delivers real world results for high speed charging. The combination of active cooling and a sturdy metal build makes it a first class addition to my car. Great design. Love it.
I have been using this charger for several months now. I think the design is fantastic. I've seen other reviews which question the reliability of it. My experience has been the opposite. I have a folding phone so it's not light. The connection to the dash has remained intact without fail. I am careful when removing the phone. I don't just yank it off. It charges as it should. The magnetic force is what I expected. Holds my phone with no issues or concerns it could fail and drop the phone. It's super convenient to have this integrated design. My dash is already occupied with a portable android auto unit. My 4Runner is older and did not have that feature. Again, this is plastic. Handle it with some care and I don't see anyone having issues with breaking. It has worked out great for me. Recommend.
